Control the ROV with your smart device

We have designed the drone system to be controlled from the Blueye App installed on your smart device. This allows for great flexibility and ensures that you always have access to the latest software features. There is no need for additional programs or equipment that typically requires external power.

We have chosen to use standard iOS and Android devices to control Blueye drones. This provides a familiar user experience that many are already accustomed to. It allows us to leverage the latest innovations in mobile devices, such as increased battery life, bright screens, or 5G connectivity for live image sharing from the drone.

Blueye App

Operate your underwater drone, download media files and dive logs, or generate inspection reports from any standard iOS or Android device, or the Blueye Rugged Controller.

Blunux Operating System

The core of our software stack is Blunux - the Blueye Operating System

Blunux is the name for the operating system running on the drone, consisting of a control system, logging and telemetry, embedded firmware, video streaming, and much more.

Observer App

Allows multiple people to connect to the drone and view the video stream at the same time. Having more eyes on the ball can help increase the efficiency and quality of an inspection or underwater operation.

Blunux Web App

The Blunux Web App is a browser-based interface for managing your Blueye drone. No installation is required—simply connect to the drone’s Wi-Fi and open the app.

It provides a clear overview of dives, media, logs, and system status, and lets you transfer files, review data, monitor system health, adjust settings, and install updates.

Virtual Control Center

The Apple Vision Pro headsets can be used as compact, portable virtual control center for our underwater drones.

Live Streaming
